Print Recipe
aka Aunt Donna’s Potatoes
Steps
Peel potatoes and boil in water (enough to cover all potatoes) until a fork pokes easily into potatoes.
Drain water completely.
Leave potatoes in drained pot and butter, milk, salt, pepper and mix with hand beater (you’ll now have mashed potatoes).
Fold in sour cream and cheese.
Place in a buttered bowl and bake 350°F oven for about 20-30 minutes or until top begins to brown.
Let set about 15 minutes before serving.
Ingredients
Idaho Potatoes (5 to 6 for 4 people)
0.25 c milk
0.5 stick butter
0.25 c sour cream
8 oz EXTRA SHARP cheddar cheese, shredded
